Pneumococcal bacterias are especialy dangerous for young children and can cause a chain of serious illnesses: meningitis, pneumonia, inflammation of the ear and nose, sepsis and damage to the heart, soft tissues and bone marrow. Since 2010, pneumococcal vaccines have been added to the 'vaccination calandar' - three injections carried out at 2, 4 and 12-15 months of age. Payment for pneumococcal vaccines is guaranteed by the government until the age of 5, after which payment is required.
Adoria offers pneumococcal vaccines for both children and infants. Vaccinations are carried out in accordance with state-funded programme regulations (up to the age of 5). We provide consultations for parents, to present the relevant information about these vaccines for children. We also carry out any tests necessary.
